Show NOTICE OF SPECIAL DRAINAGE BOND ELECTION In the matter of a special bond election el-ection in Millard County, Drainage District No. 1, in Millard County, Utah. To nil poisons interested: NOTICE is hereby given that on the 23 day of March, A. D.. 1922, the Board of Supervisors of Millard Countv Drainage District No. 1, in Millard County, Utah, filed with the Board of County Commissioners of Millard County. Utah, a written request re-quest praying that the said Board of County Commissioners at once order a special drainage bond election to be held in said Millard County Drainage Drain-age District No. 1, in Millard County, Utah, to submit to the qualified voters vo-ters in said district at said election, the question "Shall the Board of Supervisors Su-pervisors of said Drainage District be authorized to issue the bonds of said district in the sum of $65,000.00 for the purpose of raising funds and money from the sale thereof with which to pay for the construction of drains, drainage canals and other required re-quired improvements already made and to be made, deemed necessary to drain lands in said district, and to conserve the public health and welfare wel-fare and to complete the drainage system in said district, said bonds .o run not less than ten years nor more than forty years, and to bear interest, payable semi-annually at a rate not exceeding six per cent, per annum, to be called "Drainage District Dis-trict Bonds," and the proceeds of which shall be used for no other purpose pur-pose than paying the cost of completing com-pleting the construction of such drains, drainage canals and other like work deemed necessary to drain lands within said district, and to conserve the public health and welfare?" Said Board of County Commissioners, Commiss-ioners, after due consideration ol said request for the calling of said bond election, did on the 27th day ol March, 1922, order a special election for said purpose, and notice Is hereby given pursuant to Section 2071 of Chapter 41 of Session Laws of Utah 1919, that such election has been called and will be held In said Millard Mill-ard County Drainage District No. 1, Millard County, Utah, on the 29 day of April. A. D., 1922, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of said drainage district the question "Shall the said Board of Supervisors of said drainage district be authorized authoriz-ed to issue its bonds in said sum i $65,000.00 (Sixty five thousand Dol-lars.) Dol-lars.) for the purpose hereinbefore stated?" For the convenience of tho land owners within said drainage districl notice is hereby given that the saic Board of County Commissioners have provided a polling place within saic district, at which polling place saic special election will be held on saic day as follows: At the tithing of fice hall in the town of Hinckley Millard County, Utah. Notice is further given that the said Board of County Commissioner: have named as the judges who shal preside at the polling place at saic special election the following namec' ' persons, to-wit: John Reeve, Parlej Warnick, O. C. Koch. Notice is further given that the qualified voters in said Drainage District Dis-trict who desire to cast their ballots in favor of tho issuing of said bonds shallcast ballots which shall contain the words "Drainage bonds of Millard Mill-ard County Drainage District No. 1 Yes:" or words equivalent thereto; and thoso land owners and . parties entitled to vote at said election elec-tion who desire to cast their ballots against the issuing of said bonds shall cast ballots which contain the words "Drainage bonds of Millard County Drainage District No. 1 No.", or words equivalent thereto.- Notice is further given that the boundaries of said Drainage District No. .1 in Millard County, Utah, are particularly described as follows: Beginning at the SW cor Sec. 30, Tp. 17 S, R 7 W, S. L. M. thenco i East 1 miles; thence north 1 mile; thence east mile; thence north mile; thence Bast mile; thence north 1 miles; thence West V2 i mile; thence north mile; thence West 2 miles; thence south 3 y4 miles; thence East mile; thence South Vi mile to the beginning; area approximately 5.2 4 0 acres.
