Show LEADING CROPS FOR GARDEN Section May Be Set Aside for Permanent Perma-nent Vegetables and Small Fruits Don't Crowd. When space Is available a section of the garden may be set aside for the permanent vegetables and the small fruits. The location of these permanent crops, however, should be such that they will not Interfere with the plowing of the gnrden or the cultivation culti-vation of the annual vegetables. In no case should the small fruits be crowded, it being best to plant a limited lim-ited number, selecting those best adapted to the region. Constant Advertisement. A fine flock1 of purebred geese on a farm is a constant advertisement. They stand out in the field like a linely pointed "ignhoard. Most Satisfactory Nests. Nests 14 by 14 by 6 Inches, with 15 Inches head-room, have been found the most satisfactory by leading poultry-men. |
