Mr. and Mrs. Alden Ivie came over from Lynndwl last week and sold their home here to Mr. and Mrs. Mel-vln Mel-vln Lewis, who have moved therein. Mr. and Mrs. Trueman Martin and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Adams are the proud parents of baby boys;. Mr. Thomas has done wonders in training the boys of the Seventh and Eighth grades into a band, which played for the big dance last Friday night. The Mutual put on a pie and icecream ice-cream social and dance a week ago Friday night. Mr. D. Maine motored down from Salt Lake City last Saturday, returning return-ing on Sunday with Mrs. Maine, "who has been here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Adams. Mr. Thomas and Mr. Dyches have renewed their schol contracts for another an-other year here, much to the satisfaction satisfac-tion of the entire town. Van Arsdale will return re-turn to her home in Galesburg, Illi nois, leaving Delta on Thursday, Mrs. Van Arsdale has been here for tho p'-.st wek on business connected with her property here. Leland Kimball is again on the job after a two weeks' siege with the mumps. E. A. Silberstein is again in Delta for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stewart, Miss Mabel Stewart and Frank Beckwith, Jr., drove to Provo Saturday night, and from there Mrs. Stewart went on to Blanding, called there by the death of her mother. Mrs. Stewart will remain In Blanding for a time. Tho rest of the party returned to Dolta Sunday, accompanied by Miss Pearl Stewart, who will visit here for a few days with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Ren Anderson are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby girl at their home. Miss Martha Heise will go to Salt Lake City Sunday to meet her sister, Mrs. La Rue Pritchett, of Meridian, Idaho, who. with hor two small children, chil-dren, will visit here with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Heise. O. A. Anderson went to Fillmore Sunday night on business. As a form on which to grow certified certi-fied seed D. A. Bunker bought the Abraham sixty of Mrs. R. F. Van Arsdale. |
