Show SUGARVILLE SITTINGS Drainage work is progressing nicely nice-ly on the southern boundary of schedule sche-dule "E". The machines are now laying the tile on Jerome Tracy's place, and east by the Clyde Underbill Under-bill farm. Very- little water is encountered en-countered along these lines. One machine moved , out to begin work on Schedule "D" a few days ago; this peace of work, we believe, is mostly west of the Gordon beet dump the other machines will soon follow, fol-low, as their work is almost completed com-pleted on schedule "E". The stork was quite busy out our way Sunday the 9th, braving the chilly atmosphere and leaving with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Knight (nee Blanche Remington) a boy. Grandpa Grand-pa Remington has a smile that is sure a permanent fixture. Mr. and Mrs. Rom Shields returned from a visit to Salt Lake this week, going thru the temple while there. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Johnson returned re-turned from Tooele this week, having hav-ing visited with their parents there since holidays. Herb says he is real glad to be back with us again; Sugarville Sugar-ville may not be exactly a, hive of social activities, nevertheless it has Tooele beat four ways from the ace. Ivan Jacobs is spending the winter win-ter at Salt Lake. We understand he is going to school; maybe he is taking tak-ing a course in domestic science and will bring the teacher home. The threshers are working on Mr. Heinlein's alfalfa seed. On account of weather conditions they are not getting along very well. We have not heard how his seed Is running; yet, we believe it la up to the average, aver-age, The parents-teachers' entertainment entertain-ment held In the Sugarville hall on Tuesday, the lltb, was a grand success. suc-cess. Those who took part in the program are to be congratulated for the able manner in which they rendered ren-dered their parts.
