Show BUSINESS FAILURES The American Economist quotes from Bradstreet that In the week of Jan. 6, 1921, there were 422 business busi-ness failures in the United States, and in the week of Dec. 30, 1920, 470 failures. In these two weeks 892 business houses closed up. Twenty-two banks in North and South Dakota, some In Iowa, two large and strong ones in Idaho this week those merchants who are unloading un-loading at any price are the ones who will be in business two years from now. Those who hold back thinking it may revive , But the rock around its neck Is too big. It's down for keeps. |
