Show McCORNICK MITES Mrs. S. E. Love has been very 111, but Is now improving. Also a number of children have been sick. A larger force of men and teamB are on the road. Special missionaries held a meeting meet-ing with the people here last Thursday Thurs-day evening. Indications point to a considerable influx of settlers to this district in the spring. Something like 40 families, fami-lies, we understand, are headed this way. We are in the grip of winter all-right! all-right! 15 to 2G degress below has been reported. We think it is cold, but we are close to fuel, and have potatoes po-tatoes and fruit in the cellar and flour and meat to make the city man gasp ! ... We are expecting a home-grown vaudeville show to be presented soon. The "show" will travel from "town to town the country 'round." Two of our men, J. A. Allen and Jos. H. Ogden, are acting as missionaries mission-aries in Fillmore and Kanosh. Miss Luclle Damron enteratned the Myster Girls on Wednesday, 18th, at the home of Mrs. Spencer Wright, assisted by Miss Estelle Wright and Miss Myrtle Brunson, . Fifteen club members were present. Delicious refreshments re-freshments were served. |
