Show MEADOW MISCELLANY The annual M. I. A. meet of th Millard Stake was held at Meadow April 25th and 2ith, which was a grand success In every particular. All the. towns except Holden were repre tented In thla contest. All seemed to take a lively interest and the .best of leellng prevailed. Kverythlng went off without a bitch. The first was a baseball game between Kanoah and Sclplo, which resulted in a victory Ifoi Sclplo by nine point. A basketball basket-ball game between Meadow and Fillmore, Fill-more, the score belug 53 to 42 In favor of Meadow, Rodney Stott of Meadow being the star player, making 28 points. Waldo Lyman of Fillmore followed fol-lowed with 17, and Orval Stott of Meadow with 15 points. The game was a lively one from start to finish. The next event was a baseball game between Meadow and Fillmore, tbe score being nine to eight In favor of Fillmore, followed with a basketball game between Sclplo and Katioxh, the score being 21 to 9 In favor of Kan-osh. The rub busketball game was awarded to Meadow a Kanosh refused to contest. At 10 a. in. Saturday meeting was held In the chapel. The singing was awarded to Kanosh, as no others entered. en-tered. Oration awarded to William Starley o. Fillmore, he being the only one tt nt entered. Miss Laura Peterson of Fillmore took first place In story telling and Miss Peterson of Sclplo second place.
