LEAMINGTON LOCALS. Our public school closed on Friday, the 2",th, and In the evening a surprise parly was given by the school children on the principal and his wife at the home of Mr. and Mrs. I .on Is Nellsoa. Everyone reports having had a good time. We regret very much having Mr. and Mrs. Cheel leave us, but they left on Saturday morning for Sallna to spend the summer. Two bundle showers were given this week, one on Tuesdsy night for Mr. and Mrs. Axel Johnson, at the home of Parley Elder. An enjoyable time was bad and many benutlful presents were given the newlyweds. Over 50 persons were present. The shower for Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fullerton was also a success. ft wss given on Thursday evening. Everyone bad a very good time.
