8CHOOL EXERCISES AT DELTA. The closing exercises of the Delta schools, were held last Friday fore noon. The pupils In each of the grades gave an Interesting program of songs, recitations, etc., to the large audience that came out. There were nine graduates in the eighth grade. Fay Patton gave the valedictory and Pesrl Tozer read an original story. Eliza Hook gave an Interesting and amusing prognostication of the class. There were also a number of sorgs and recitations by tbe lrls; v The children of primary grades gave a very pretty presentation of tbe May Queen, with butterflies, fairies, flow-cts, flow-cts, etc. In the afternoon a dance was given for the children, at which a large number of the little folks en Joyed themselves. The evening was given over, to a dance for the older young folks. There was a good at-tendanse at-tendanse and an enjoyable tlmo was spent.
