Show FIRE AT BELLANDER RANCH, Last Tuesday a large fire broke out 011 the Hollander Ranch. The origin of the fire is unknown. The sheds, calf pen, straw stack and fences were burned. As a iult three calves were lost and three badly burned. The stable and horsea were saved through the efforts of a bucket brigade. Mr. Alfred Bellander ha Just returned re-turned from Newhouse, where he has been attending to the shearing of the sheep. I.ee Marriott has sUo returned from New house. They report that buyers are plentiful, but prices are low. Mr. M. II. Webb ts living on bis homestead on the Four-mile Meadow, and Is fencing it. Mr. Kellstrom starts for Oaals after his well pipe next w-ek Mrs. Mary RobUon. one of the pio-n-eis of this valley, is very sick with p.nalysls and the hopes for ber recovery re-covery are poor. Her children have sil been sent for and those not here are on the way. There was quite a fire in Baker Sunday. Tbe fields and fences on the esst side were all burned. Word has Just been received that Sam Gelsllng was killed last Monday near the Conger ranch. There will be an old time dance In the Gregory school on May 10th. A good time Is expected. |
