Show THE WEEK AT OASIS Mr. Mlna Jackson, Representative The alfalfa wed Is rolling out this season similar to the gold that rolls out of the mine. Mr. Nelson Bishop of Delta was a visitor here this week. Milton Moody of Salt I-ake Is here visiting and recuperating In the fresh, cool air, and attending to business. The little 9 year-old son of 8. M. Haw ley Is reported as not doing well. The doctor fears his leg will have to be reset after two weeks. Mrs. C. O. W. Plerson Is retried to le Improving after the oieratlon she underwent on the 7th Inst., and It Is hoped this will end her sickness, and ihe will soon be able to return home. Mr. I W. Galsford of Fillmore was een on our streets this week. Another feature that will be a marked Improvement and that Is when the mall route Is changed from Fillmore Fill-more via Oasis on the 23rd of this month. Our postmaster, J. P. Johnson, received the word this week to this fffect. . Mrs. Herman ?cCosh has returned home from the hospital and Is very mluhc Improved. J. C. Hawley's new brick house Is well under headway with William Crltchley and Ira Clothla of Fillmore as masons. Mrs. Alf Johnson has returned home from Lynndyl for the purHse of sending send-ing her children to school. A number of our people went to Salt iJtke City to enjoy the conference confer-ence and also the fair. A great show visited our town last week. Many were disappointed, though. They carried 11.000 out of town. I |
