Show ' THE D0INGSAT DELTA A. P. Wallace, Representative eSSBSSMSSBaBsa Two carloads of imlgrant movables were unloaded here last week. They came from California. Mr. K. 11. Dutwelhler, of Steamboat Springs, Colo., arrived here Thursday evening with an Imlgrant car. His family came In on the train Saturday. All trains have been quite late the last few days, and the hobos have been plentiful, both of which was a result of the strike, we suppose. Mr. Wesley Uckyard of Los Angeles An-geles has moved to Delta to make It his home. He came last Thursday'. Mr. Ixnkyard Is a Jeweler and watch maker by trade. He will have his shop In connection with the Arcade Furniture Co. Mr. Lockyard should do well at his business, as there Is not a first-class Jeweler on this side of the county. All the priesthood Is requested to bo present at the Priesthood meeting Sunday afternoon, as there Is some very Important business to be transacted, trans-acted, and your presence there Is wanted. The water has been shut out of the cant's and as soon as they dry out the work of enlarging them will be commenced. com-menced. I W. Galsford. of Fillmore, formerly form-erly the East Side editor, was In town Monday selling peaches. He talks as thought he thought our town would amount to something yet which Is a kind word we don't get from everybody over there. Word Is being pushed on the new hotel as fast as possible. The lumber lum-ber has not yet arrived, so that Is delaying them some. The building Is to be a two-story frame structure, with 15 rooms, besides two both rooms, linen closet, hallways and basement. There will be a lobby, dining room, kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and Moor. Mne bed roonisrTinen closet, ladies wash room and bath on the second sec-ond floor. The building when complete wfll be a very nice structure. It will have hot and cold water for both bath rooms, kitchen and basement. George Day made a trip to Salt Lake City last week on business. Last Monday the Delta Company loaded one of their automobiles on a flat car and sent to to Salt Lake City to be overhauler and repaired. Monday evening Leslie Lewis had the misfortune to accidentally shoot himself with a 38 Colts automatic pistol. The bullet passed through the knee Joint. Dr. Murphy dressed the wound, and at the present time the patient Is getting along very well. Last week Dr. Underbill and wife made a trip through the settlements of the East Side doing dentist work. They report doing a good business. I wish to thank my friends and the people of Delta for the liberal patronage patron-age they have accorded me In the past, and I assure them that In the future any business that they give me will be greatly appreciated, and I will do all in my power to merit any favors shown me.
