Show Farm Bureaus Being Organized Farm Demonstrator, Welch reports re-ports having held a number of encouraging en-couraging meetings of the farmers farm-ers of'various localities the past week. A meeting of the farmers farm-ers of Sutherland was held on March 2nd, and a report of which will be found in this weeks issue. A meeting was held at Oasis and P. M. Anderson was elected president, J. Val Styler, vice-president, vice-president, and Sam Rutherford secretary-Treasurer. At the Hinckley meeting Ed. E. Anderson was elected president, presi-dent, Richard Parker, vice-president and Robison, Sec'y-Treas. There will be a meeting at the Ward Hall in Delta Sunday, March 12th after the Sunday services when an organization will be formed. Tne object of these organizations organiza-tions is to bring all farmers in touch with each other to the end that advanced kleas and methods may be disseminated and taken advantage of; that stock-raising and feeding and breeding may be studied, talked over and the best methods made universal. The marketing of the products of the farm is also another idea of the organization organi-zation and cooperation in all branches of the farm will be the objective point. |
