Show the last Band Dance for a while. Come out and enjoy yourselves and while doing so you will be helping the band. South Tract Review The Womens' Economics Club met as per adjoinment, with Mrs. E. A. Brush on last Thursday, Thurs-day, and of course we men had to go and drive for the women, we had a pretty good time until we went into the house and then "believe me" we had nothing to say, nor any chance to say it. Our wanderers are returning one by one. Mrs. C. A. Hive returned re-turned on March the 2nd from her old home in Indiana, where she has been visiting parents and friends. Lawrence Nelson,' who has been spending the wint i er with his people at Englewood Cali., and Jack Kennally have droped in and we are glad to have them with us again. There is still quite a few to report very soon. Art Johnson, who spent last summer with Wood Bro's, we understand is here with an older brother, and will farm their own land this year which lies near the old Tuck ranch. We spent the afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Brush a few days ago and it was a pleasure to look over his stock all of which are good individuals and rolling fat. Mr- and Mrs. H. E. Beck spent an afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Crawford and found it very cozy and were very sociably entertained at a 4:30 lunch. A part of the South Tract are stuffing themselves tonight at "Mother" Whitmcres, on Turk- ey, chicken, duck or something, anyhow they said it was stuffed. Somebody said not long ago, that spring is here and we think there must be something the matter with him, judging from the weather of the last ten days. The county is taking nice care of their roads from the cotton-wood cotton-wood corner to Delta. The drag under Mr. Stapley's care dees . the business. Dont forget to attend the Band Dance on Friday night the 10th inat. Music by the band and a i good time insured. This will be |
