Show KOMK liOCAL SAYINGS Water was turned off the North Tract Dec. 4th. The season closes in Sept., but owing to the fact that there were a great many belated wheat growers grow-ers who hadn't their crops irrigated, the season was prolonged to this considerable con-siderable extent. i We understand that there was a small field of sugar beets raised on the South Tract this year which tested out 20 per cent saccharine. Won't it be fine when we get the care of beets down so that we can raise 15 tons of 20 per cent beets and have tracts of 20 to 40 acres? Oh! you sedan. Mrs. Francis Hues, the blind reader read-er and impersonator was in Delta Tuesday evening and delivered some of her readings to an appreciative audience in the Ward Hall. t Mrs. Thos. C. Callister, and daughters, Laura and Lanola ,are here visiting wi h their daughter and sister, Mrs. John Starley. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Lambert have moved to their home in the Southern part of town. Archie ' Maxfield and Norman Gardner are visiting in Richfield this week. |
