Show Golden Rule Store I is Acain Robbed i . Some one as yet unknown entered enter-ed the Golden Rule store some time Saturday niht and perloined a lot cl men's ve:t:':;.g apparil. When Bert I'ouplas rumi" down to the store at six o'clock Sunday morning morn-ing in preparation lor going hunting hunt-ing he found the lower glass of the front, door broken out and on examination exam-ination found that lie had been robbed rob-bed of three suits of men's clothing, three nuickinaws, two pairs of shoes that he can be sure of, a new suit case, his personal overcoat this is the second overcoat that Ben has lost by the store being burglarized within' a year and some other smaller articles. The miscreants had procured a hatchet which had been left in a car where Drayman Works had been working. The hatchet had been used to pry open the money drawer. Nothing but a few pennies and dimes were in the drawer and these were taken and scattered on the floor. As- yet there has been no arrests but certain .local parlies are being investigated, and arrests may follow. To day the Sheriff captured a Mexican down at Milford wearing some clothes which looked like those stolen from the Golden Rule, lie was brot to Delta and the overcoat, over-coat, suit, mackinaw and shoes were identified as having been taken tak-en from the Golden Rule store. The Mex. is being held awaiting further developments. |
