In the afternoon were held the graJua lion exercises of the county eighth grade students. Man former academy students and parents also took occasion oc-casion to visit in Hinckley. The lllnck-j lllnck-j ley students served a delightful banquet ban-quet to all the graduates in the academy rooms. A few of the nearly "ft graduates were unable to be present, pres-ent, but all who were here enjoyed a pleasant day. No fine seems to know tho Hinckley score somewhere from 17 to 27. The most Interesting antics were those of Alma Langslon and Arthur Reeves as pitcher and catcher. In the evening a big dance was held In the gy.inaslum. During the ball game Luclell Whitehead was struck back of the ear by a swift ball and hint quite badly, though probably prob-ably not dangerously. |
