Show IN AND AROUND DELTA Ha Week's News from the Cominjj Metropolis Miss Martha Bennett of Holden Is In town this week visiting relatives und friends. Mr. J. V. WllHainaon, manager of the I'tali Real Estate and Livestock Co. is quite 111 and suffering with blood poison In one ot his ringers. The Delta Mercantile and Implement Imple-ment Co. received another carload of implements this week. Mr, John Argue, of Hueneme, Calif., left Tuesday morning for the sunny south, but expects to be gone only two weeks. He will return with his family. He says Delta Is good enough for John. The dance given by the baseball club last Wednesday evening was quite well ' attended, and everybody enjoyed themselves them-selves Immensely. It was the first appearance of the Delta orchestra and they certainly are a good bunch of musicians, but the one thing that everybody hated to hear was that Mr. Frank Leltoy was going to leave and would not be with them any more, as lie was a dun 1 y good clarinet player. The Delta baseball boys went down to Deseret last Saturday to play baseball base-ball with the Deseret boys. They came back home feeling fine over their vie tory over the Deseret boys. This is the lirst game that Delta has won in ttie past two years, but don't think that tills Is the record that Delta is always going to have, for she Is fixing to go up against any of them. The score was 12 to 11 In favor of Delta. Manager George Snow spent a couple of tlays In Delta this week looking after t tie afTairs of his company. He ought to come down here ofiener, as his presence is needed tj straighten the kinks out of the big enterprise.
