Provo and Logan stayed in the "dry" column by big majorities in the local option elections on June 29, and in addition Farm-ington, Farm-ington, partly "wet" and Marys-ville Marys-ville all wet, joined the "dry" columns. State News As a result of the tie vote in the recent liquor election at Gunnison, Gun-nison, the force opposed to prohibition pro-hibition have decided to make a contest. The new state law relative to auto and motor license fees became be-came effective July 1. Hereafter persons who have failed to pay their liscense fees will be liable to arrest.
