Show lAuto Route Postponed Until' January 15lh. . Word has just been received by postmaster Faust from the Department, that the establish-, merit of the auto route to cover R. F. D. Route No. 1, and ' the South Tract Route, has been postponed until the fifteenth or seventeenth of January, and it is thought, perhaps, from the fact that a petition is now pending pend-ing for the establishment of a route in the Abraham District, that the auto route may be held up preparatory to the establishment establish-ment of an auto route covering the Abraham and North Tract Routes, and that if this is the case, the Soutn Tract Patrons may be served by a wagon. No returns from the auto route carriers' examination have been received, and Cyril Cluff, the. present incumbent of Route No. I, will continue on same until the auto route is established. Farmers in the Abraham District Dis-trict along the route, are busy repairing the road in places. But there are yet some serious mud-holes mud-holes which if not repaired are liable to stand in the way of the establishment of this route. |
