He will deal with the subject of drainage, drain-age, a very live question in this locality at present. Dr. E. G. Titus is an entomologist. ento-mologist. Tell him your trouble with insects. He is also one of the first teachers of Eugenics in the United States and you will enjoy his talk on "Race Betterment. Better-ment. Dr. Geo. R. Hill will acquaint you with methods of controling grain smuts and potato diseases. Byron Alder, the U. A. College Col-lege Poultry man, is another interesting in-teresting character. Tell him your Poultry troubles. Dr. H. J. Frederick is the College Col-lege Vetrinarian. He will gladly hear your troubles in this line. Hon. Frank B. Stevens is a man of wide reputation and is .thoroughly capable of dealing with the subject given him, "Rural Credit Systems." This, too, is a live question since we have recently had in our midst men who have been trying to interest in-terest many farmers in such matters and, last but not least, we have Dr. J. A. Widtsoe, President Pres-ident of the Agricultural College, one of the highest in his class in the United States. We are also making use of a number of local men who have proved themselves efficient in the lines along which they are listed. 'Every farmer should be present pres-ent during the entire program. The women of Millard County are particularly fortunate in having with them this year for the Housekeepers Conference, as they did last year, Miss Gertrude Ger-trude McCheyne. Miss Mc-Cheyne Mc-Cheyne is becoming famous for her . worlc thruout the United States. At least a dozen states are bidding for her time and trying to bribe her presence. It will someday mean something to us to have had work under a woman who is becoming so celebrated. cele-brated. The presence of Miss Agnes Saunders is another -piece of good fortune to the women of of Millard a teacher of experience, exper-ience, having several well earned earn-ed degrees attached to her name, formerly of New York and at present in the Home 'Economics Department of the Utah Agricultural Agri-cultural College will thoroughly discuss the important subject of Delta VS. M. A. A very interesting game of Basket Ball was played in the Delta Opera house Thanksgiving eening, and to the great surprise sur-prise of many Delta and also people of neighboring towns, the score, the first half, was 14 to 4 and at the end of the game the score was 32 to 21, both in favor of Delta, the line up were as follows: Delta vs. M.
