Show NEWS NOTES OF SCIPIO , We are still having winter weather. It snowed almost every day last week. The district school closed here May 3. The Jenkins orchestra came over to play for the dame Wednesday eveniug. They were unable to get away Thursday on account of the heavy storm. .So we had another dance Thursday evening. Mr. Charles Jenkins wa over from Nephl last week with a stock of shoe and clothing. He was located lo-cated In the sample room at the Miller Mil-ler hotel. , , Mr. Emmett Robin and a Mr.' Hrown from Salmon have spent the past few days In Sclplo. Mr. Rose Memmott hi returned home from Salina, where she ha been under the doctor's care for some time. There has been a large amount of grain hauled out of Sclplo the past 9 month. The greater part of It wa sold to Delta people. Mr. Arthur Koford was over from Levan last week visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Dan Olsen. The student who were attending the M. 8. A. at Hinckley have returned re-turned home. They are Misses Ha-xel Ha-xel Hanseen, Lillian Thompson, Clara Thompson and Vera Monroe; also Calvin Mammott and Orvll II Thompson. Brother Daniel Thompson I reported report-ed very ill at thl writing. Vincent Hanseen came up from Delta last week after a load of grain for J. P. Peterson. Mr. Ksdra Wood seem to be coming com-ing over from Holden quite often of late. There seems to be an a H melon me-lon at Alfred Memmott's. |
