It I proposed that each patron pat-ron pay hi proportion of the cost of building and maintaining the main telephone line, to pay the cost of hi phone and if the line ha to be extended ex-tended more than one half mile to connect con-nect with hi phone, to pay for the additional ad-ditional distance. Six are already connected con-nected and other will be a fast a possible. The subject of a seed grower' or tanners' association was discussed and every one wa highly In favor of It. At the next meeting plans for an organization or-ganization will he ptesented and It is xpected that an association will be formed in time to build an elevator to take care of the farmer' grain next, fall. From the buslne-like way the farmer on the west side take hold of any proposition we have no doubt but what they will carry thl matter through.
