WOULD EXCLUDE ASIATICS. Literacy Test for Caucasians Also Indorsed by Labor Leaders. Seattle, Wash. With only five dissenting dis-senting votes the American Federation Federa-tion of Labor on Tuesday passed resolutions res-olutions demanding the exclusion of all Asiatics and a literacy test for Caucaslons. In a twohour debate on the resolutions most of the ieadiug men of the federation spoke, making clear that they opposed the immigration immigra-tion of (hose Europeans only who would bo the prey of exploiters and whose coming would tend to lower the American standard of living.
