Ting were visitors in the "Greater" Delts country the latter lat-ter part of last week and the first of this attending to business in connection with their interests and shovviug some parties over the country. Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Lake of Abraham are taking a much deserved de-served layoff and will visit friends in Duschesne for a short time. Mr. Lake has had his nose to the grindstone for seven years and this is the first recreation rec-reation trip he has taken in that length nf time. Mrs. John Seitz, of Brigam arrived ar-rived here the last of last week and will make her home in this vicinity. Mrs. Seitz is a sister of Mrs. 0. A. Anderson, and has a little boy of ten. Her husbaud has been foreman at the Brigham mines until two months ago when he was assassinated by an Austrian, who shot him in the back. E. D. Hashimoto who is raising rais-ing sugar beets on an extensive scale west of town was here the last of last week looking after his interests. Mr. Hashimoto has great faith in this country as a sugar beet and grain district dis-trict and is showing his faith by the large investments he has made. He says that the Salt Lake Route has run a survey to his place and he hopes to get a track in to it to facilitate moving his large sugar beet crop. FOR SALE: 80 head of good, thrifty pigs and shoats. If a final proof is due, the publication requires re-quires five weeks, and as most are due by April 1st, each final necessary should be begun at once. The yearly proofs should be attended to promptly. |
