Show ACADEMY NOTES. Clark Allred, Reporter. Tiie pedagogy class will discuss the question of the Consolidation of Millard County Schools. F.ach member of the class will present some reasons for or against the plan. Mr. Edward Cox of Ogdeu has been employed as music teacher at the Millard Mil-lard Academy for next year. He spent The music furnished by him and Mrs. Hroaddus was appreciated by all the Students. For the last two weeks the domeslh-sclcnce domeslh-sclcnce "C" girls have been doing practical prac-tical work In preparing and serving. Laeh member of the faculty and partner part-ner has been served to a delightful breakfast. Saturday morning the slake piesldcucy weie entertained. Friday evening the Hinckley Dramatic Dramat-ic Company presented a four-act drama entitled "Down on the Farm" to a large and attentive audience. Quartet ly conference convened In the Academy auditorium Saturday and Sunday. Apotttle Heber Grant and Hro. McMurrln, one of the seven presidents presi-dents of Seventies, were the visiting speakers. Specimens of the wohk done by the drawing class and domestic science and arts departments, also the pieces of furniture made by the boys In the manual training shop, were on exhibition exhibi-tion after each session of conference. Many remarks of praise were made of all the work. The lady visitors seem to especially admire the bottled fruit and vegetables. |
