Show L ' Called Home ; The funeral services of Miss 1 Edna E- Ash were held at the 1 home of her lister, Mrs. H. G. Haumann, of the South Tract, . Wednesday at 1:80 p. m. Rev. i C. H. Hamilton conducted the t services, and the music was fur-r fur-r uished by Mr. and Mrs. Craw-! Craw-! ford, Mrs. Brush, Mr, and Miss 1 Beck. Interment was in the Delta , cemetery. The grave was box-', box-', ed up part way to prevent cav- ing and lined above that with j- white cloth. After the services ; was completed the near relatives departed before the grave was j filled. They were thus spared what is probably the hardest j strain at all funerals. Friends remained behind to complete the work. Miss Ash came here from Gates, Nebr., about three months ago in search of health. 1 but in spite of loving care and f fresh air, tuberculosis claimed its victim. She would have been X 22 years of age had she lived un-, un-, til Jan. 27 next. Besides her sister, Mrs. H. G. 1 Haumann, Miss Ash had a bro- ther on the South Tract. Her ' mother came here with her and . her father came about three weeks ago. The father and mother will return shortly to ! the Nebraska home. |
