On Tuesday Mr. Joseph Moody's team became frightened at an automobile while standing near the Oasis State Bank and in a mad flight to escape, one horse was so badly injured it had to be immediately killed. It is quite a serious loss as the animal was a fine one. The wagon and harness har-ness were torn to pieces. The more deplorable accident happened on Saturday when the team of Mr. and Mrs. Wood from Hoiden, became frightened and in the runaway both Mr. and Mrs. Wood were thrown from the wagon.
