Since then we have received re-ceived an even dozen of answers to the little ad., the last response coming in last Saturday. One reply comig from as far away as Meadow. Many others can testify test-ify to equal results from ads. placed in the Chronicle columns. col-umns. The Spalding-Livingston Investment In-vestment Co. formulated a plan of disposing of some of their lands under the Midland project which will add materially to the development of the country in the vicinity of Abraham, and bring several new settlers into the country. It is a crop pay-' pay-' ment scheme and so much of the land must be in fall wheat this fall. Already about 1000 acres of this land has been contracted for by local and outside out-side parties, and it will be but a short time until all they have to dispose of in this manner will be contracted for. |
