Show feeling that big business is going on there. Word comes from W. H. Toin-linson, Toin-linson, who is now at his old home in Illinois, that he will be back here about the first of March. Lawrence Nelson and Jack Kannelly are expected back from Los Angeles soon. We very much enjoyed the entertainments en-tertainments given by the Walters Walt-ers Co. last week. They are first-class at their business. Hay hauling is about over for the South Tract farmers, as most of them have secured enough to run them til) hay comes again. South Tract Review The South Tract will be almost be depopulated if all the men leave who now expect to when work begins on the big dam. Most of the farm work was done last fall, so they feel like they could be spared from home for awhile this spring. From Ten Mile Wash, west to the cotton wood comes at Chas. Hardins, used to be one of the worst pieces of road in our country. coun-try. Last summer it was graded by the county and was loose and unfit for travel all fall, but finally the rain and melting snow so packed it that it was ready for more work. Last week the county coun-ty officials put on the drag and the result is the best and most perfect piece of road on the South Tract. There is a great deal of travel on the Hinckley Oak City road and that part of it from the river bridge east of Ten Mile Wash should be. graded to accommodate the ever increasing travel by the valley and foothill towns and adjacent country. It is in very bad condition now. Ye scribe visited the camp of the Delta Land & Water Co. located lo-cated near Fred Hauinans and found it a well ordered, neat and attractive camp. It gives one a |
