Show Oak City . . . Mrs. Blaine Spendlove Last Tuesday evening the 4-H Club boys, under the leadership of Lyman Finlilnson, had a party on the church lawn. The boys who were chosen as club officers were Pies. Paul Flnlinson, Vice-president Fred Nielson, nnd Secretary DeLyn Nielsen. Thirteen boys were present. pres-ent. Ice cream was served. Acel Nielson is visiting for a few days In Provo. Mr. and Mrs. James Howard are visiting relatives In Salt Lake . Reed Nillson of Provo visi .ed a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Finlinson and family. Members of the Melchezedek priesthood and their wives and partners met Thursday evening at the home of Mr. nnd Mrs. Cloyd Talbot for a potato cutting bee. The 40 people who were present soon had 3600 lbs of potatoes cut ready for planting on the church welfare project. After the potatoes pota-toes were done the cutters were served with nl lhe chili and root beer they could consume. We hope the potatoes will grow. Lynndyl M. I. A. presented a 3-act 3-act play here Friday evening, "Introducing "In-troducing Susan." It was a very good comedy and was much enjoyed en-joyed by the audience. Saturday 24 students from the 4lh to fllh grades of school went on an educational trip to Provo and Salt Lake. On their tour they visited the State Mental Hospital and the B. Y. U. in Provo, the pen-itentary, pen-itentary, State Capitol Building, air port, the Temple grounds, Hotel titan, ti-tan, Z. C. M. I., Deseret News and K. S. L. broadcasting station at Salt Lake. The trip was taken under un-der the leadership of principal Herman Bement and Merlene Lov-ell. Lov-ell. teacher of the 4tth and 5th grades. The students report that they had a good time. T. C.
