Show Friends Call With Birthday Felicitations Mrs. Ann E. Bishop was showered with best wishes and congratulations congratula-tions in celebration of her ninetieth birthday, at open house honoring her on Sunday afternoon, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Waiora Wallace. Over a hundred guests called during the day. The home was beautifully decorated with flowers, and Mrs. Bishop wore an orchid corsage, one of her birthday birth-day gifts. Among those from out-of-town who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Melville, David Melville and George Melville, Mrs. Bishop's brothers from Fillmore. Some of her nephews there were James A. Kelly of Fillmore and his wife, Harvey Melville, from Salt Lake City, Milton Melville and Rex Melville Mel-ville from Fillmore. Five of her grandchildren from away were home, Mrs. Winona Swalberg, and Miss Ann Wallace, Miss Nora Wallace Wall-ace and Bob Wallace, from Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Lillie Peters, from Los Angeles. Her cousin, Mrs. Ann Roper from Oak City, was a guest, and a girlhood friend from Fillmore, Mrs. Ann Whatcott, from Los Angeles called. On Monday afternoon aft-ernoon her neices, Mrs. Erma Mc-Bride, Mc-Bride, Mrs. La Vieve Day, and Mrs. Elinor Iverson and daughter, from Fillmore, called on Mrs. Bishop. |
