Show High School Evening School Program The Federal Government is spending millions of dollars in the education of farmers and other individuals in-dividuals through-out the United States. The Delta High School has an opportunity of receiving some of these funds to be disbursed for teachers in these educational courses. cours-es. Three courses have been outlined, out-lined, to be given in the high school and at Quinn Shepherds feed store. The Classes Farm Machinery Repair under the supervision of T. C. Gronning, which is held in the Delta High School shop. This class will deal with the maintenance, care and repair re-pair of all farm machinery. If individuals in-dividuals wish to bring machinery into the shop Mr. Gronning will give personal help in getting them into shape for the forthcoming season. sea-son. A class in feeding farm livestock under the supervision of Quinn Shepherd, will be held in his feed store and will stress the many economical eco-nomical ways of feeding farm livestock. live-stock. This class should be of interest in-terest to all individual who are concerned with purchasing feed, feeds to feed, how much to feed, and etc. A class in electricity, taught by Lynn Johnson, will be held in the Delta High band room. He will stress elementary electricity, how to repair farm motors, how to take care of all types of electrical splices and any other material that the individuals wish to find out in relationship re-lationship to electricity. The schedule for these classes is as follows: (1) Farm Machinery and Repair Mondav and Wednesday Wednes-day from 7:30 to 10:30. (2) Electricity Electri-city Monday and Thursday from 7:30 to 10:30. (3) Feeding Farm Livestock Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 to 9:30. If there aren't enough individuals to make up a fairly good sized group for each class taught, then the classes will have to be discontinued. discon-tinued. If the Federal Government feels that they can spend funds in the education of adults at a critical time like this, every individual should feel the necessity of making an effort to attend those classes which will be beneficial to them. |
