Show ; Birthday Balls Spotlight Week New Form of Report Cards Issued in County A new form of report cards for elementary students in Millard county were issued this week in the various schools throughout the county. Before the cards were issued, Supt. A. M. Maughn of Fillmore and supervisor Laura Henderson, visited the various communities in the county and explained to the parents the new report card which is called the "Student's Progress Report." In the future the pupils progress will be measured in terms of two factors the students' abilities and the students' efforts. The child's accomplishments will not be measured meas-ured in terms of another child's growth but rather the growth he makes in terms of his own effort and ability. Symbols H Highly satisfactory. S Progress satisfactory. F Fair. U Progress unsatisfactory. Objectives cooperation, courtesy, court-esy, personal hygiene, social adjustment, ad-justment, obedience, fairness, dependability de-pendability and leadership, are checked in the new report as well as subjects. |
