Show 4-H Announces Movie Contest for Members 4-H Club leaders and members in Millard county have an exceptional excep-tional opportunity to gain nationwide nation-wide recognition and receive valuable val-uable awards by participating in the new national 4-H movie contest, con-test, George Whornham, county a-gent, a-gent, said today. Any adult or junior local leader actively engaged in leading a 4-H club, and club members enrolled this year, are eligible to participate partici-pate in the contest. The 4-H leader who submits the best story idea and the 4-H boy and girl chosen to play the leading roles in the movie will each receive re-ceive an all-expense trip to the 25 anniversary national 4-H club congress con-gress in Chicago. Nine runners-up in each division leaders, boys and girls will receive U. S. Savings Bonds. The winning story written by a local club leader will be used in the production of the new 4-H movie and his or her name and address will appear in the film. The story may be based on fact or fancy, or a combination of the two, and should not exceed 500 words. No altenion will be paid to literary liter-ary style or construction. No experience is needed by either ei-ther boys or girls who wish to try for a leading role in the movie although al-though some amateur play, speaking speak-ing or demonstration practice may be helpful. All entries must be postmarked not later than April 15, and should be mailed to National 4-H Club News, 59 East Van Buren Street, Chicago 5, Illinois. The new 4-H movie will be sponsored spon-sored by the Sears-Roebuck Foundation. Foun-dation. It will be produced in cooperation co-operation with the U. S. Department Depart-ment of Agriculture, the State Extension Ex-tension Services, and National 4-H Club News.
