Charlie Gunn was seen about town last Thursday visiting old friends. He came up from Los An-geles to go fishing with his son Richard and family who live in Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Johnson came up from Hurricane and visited ov-ernight at the Lile Johnson home. Mrs. Lucille Johnson and son, George, were Caliente visitors ov-er the week end with Curt. Miss Diane Overson was home from Provo over Saturday and Sun day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Overson. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Nielson had their little daughter, Pat, in the hospital in Payson several days last week. She was able to come Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Aleen Vest and sons, were Spanish Fork visitors Monday. Herbert Abegglen made a bus-iness trip to Salt Lake one day last week. Miss Gladys Banks came home Saturday evening Irom Salt Lake Sunday Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Banks and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Abeg-glen drove to Provo taking Gladys, where they spent the day with Mr. and Mrs. DeLong Banks.Gladys went on to Salt Lake where she will finish her course at the mis-sion home. She will leave the city Wednesday evening for her field of labor. Bob Nielson had the misfortune of connecting with a mower knife and as a result one finger of his left hand was badly cut requiring surgery. A freak hail storm visited our fine city Thursday afternoon and really laid the gardens low. The tres are minus half their leaves and most people have several win-dows to replace. The roundhouse suffered a loss of over a hundred windows and the school house ab-out twenty-fiv- e. The hail only las-ted a few minutes but came with such flurry and force some hail stones measured one and one half inches in diameter and rain came heavy. Some of the little children ran in the house saying it was raining ice cubes. It really was a mess. Mrs. Mary Johnson and Ross visited several days in Los Angeles with relatives. She attended the reunion of the old Lynndyl resid-ents at Griffith Park and enjoyed very much visiting with old friends. The Irvin Whatcott home was the scene of a family reunion on Saturday of the family oi Mrs. Adelia Stephenson. The first time the family had all members to-gether 'for nineteen years.Mrs. Mab el Eckery of Nampha Idaho; Mrs. Edna Bradfield, of Scipio; Mrs. Amy Erickson of Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Nelson of Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Jay Nelson of Learning and Mr. Anthony Steph-enson. Friday, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Stephenson with the four daugh-ters, Rhea, Edna, Mabel and Amy, drove to Bryce Canyon, where they spent the day. Mrs. Dorothy Martineau and fam ily of California visited friends here last Tuesday. She will be re-membered as the former Dorothy Boyle.
