Show i Indies Auxiliary Holds Mooting The Ladies Auxiliary of the American Am-erican Legion, Post 117, in a meeting meet-ing Monday at their lounge waded through a great deal of business and lined up activities for the com I ing weeks. Mrs. Louise Sly, presi- dent, presided. Next Monday evening, July 16, they invite all legionnaires and auxiliary members to participate in a clean-up day for the lounge and legion hall. The following memiiers were appointed ap-pointed to head the committees for the coming year: Carol Bishop, child welfare; Lu Swalberg, sunshine; sun-shine; Gladys Carter, national security sec-urity and bonds; Elaine Dekker, membership and music; Louise Sly, community service; Iva Mitchell, poppy day and poppy posters;Ruth Steele, past presidents parley; Max ine Bishop, gold star; Lillian Roun-dy, Roun-dy, LDS Primary hospital; Marilyn Mari-lyn Bishop, legislative; Maxine Bishop, Bis-hop, juniors; Gwen McVoy, civil defense; and Lu Swalberg, publicity. |
