Show EStecL. Reck MRS. MERRILL MILLER Mr. and Mrs. Keith Christensen of Palo Alto, Cal., are visiting at the home of Mrs. Christensen's par ents, Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Adair. Mrs. Christensen was formerly Miss Virginia Adair. A delightful 4th of July was spent at the Black Rock Ranch. A chicken dinner was served at noon. In the evening a supper was served serv-ed to friends and relatives. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Adair, Mrs. Kay Reese and son, Stephen, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Don Helwing, Aldon Aery, and Walter J. Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Don Helwing, of Laguna Beach, Cal. .spent a week at the Miller home. Accompanying them was Aldon Avery o'f Escon-dito, Escon-dito, Cal. Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Adair inter-tained inter-tained friends for an evening supper sup-per to entertain their two daughters daugh-ters and families. All reported a very enjoyable affair. The supper was served in one of Mr. Adair's quarry's with a beautiful view of the mountains and the evening was capped with a brilliant sunset. sun-set. Miss Gladys Gospil and Mrs. Bee-ler Bee-ler of Milford were dinner guests of Mrs. Hampton Burke. Mr. and Mrs. Hampton C. Burke are in Salt Lake City for a short stay with friends. The annual round-up of the Black Rock Ranch, Inc., was held, The 'first day was spent in riding for cattle. The second day was spent in corrall marking and branding. bran-ding. Those that took part in the days activity were: Alvin and Wil-dy Wil-dy and Ray Yardley of Beaver, Utah; Lucian Anderson of Richfield, Rich-field, Utah; Ray Paxton and Josh Turner of Kanosh, Utah; Keith Christensen of Palo Alto, Cal.; Aldan Al-dan Avery of Escondito, Cal; Hamp Burke and Merrill Miller of Black Rock. The cattle looked good in spite of the condition of the desert. |
