Show Small Town Utility Serves Farm Folks Gas Made Available To Farms for First Time The farm folks within 20 miles of Antigo, Wis., have gone in for gas in a big way. This new interest inter-est of farm folks in heating and cooking with gas started over a year ago with the reorganization of Antigo's City Gas company. Fuel consumption consump-tion is recorded on a meter attached at-tached to their cylinders or tanks. Bad weather can't interrupt service, serv-ice, since a sufficient supply is stored on the premises in advance of use. Empty cylinders are periodically peri-odically replaced by company service serv-ice men. Since the reorganization, rates have been reduced for town and farm users three times. |
