Show Stephen Crosby Buried In Provo Ifes Sunday Stephen Abbot Crosby, 58, Spanish Span-ish Fork farmer and livestock man, died Friday at the Hughes Memorial Mem-orial hospital of injuries received in a truck-auto crash, 12 hours earlier. He had lived at Sutherland for twenty years, where he was active in community life. He was a native of Panguitch, and came to Sutherland to farm in 1924. He married Mina Wright, of Hinckley, June 8, 1922, in the Salt Lake LDS temple. When the family moved in 1944, they went to American Fork, and in 1946, settled at Spanish Fork. Mr. Crosby Cros-by was an active member of the LDS church. Surviving are his widow and six children, Mrs. Marva C. Heal, Orem Ralph S., Norene, LaDon, Spencer, and Gwen Crosby, all of Spanish Fork. Another son, Floyd W. Crosby, Cros-by, was killed in June 1946, in a plane wreck in Panama while returning to his base after a furlough fur-lough in World War II. Funeral services were held Sunday Sun-day in the Third ward chapel in Spanish Fork, and burial was in the Spanish Fork city cemetery. A number of members of the family fam-ily and friends from west Millard attended. . |
