Show Deseret LUCILLE SAMPSON Mr and Mrs. E. J. Eliason, Genevieve Gen-evieve and Cleo Eliason spent a few days in Salt Lake City. Ormus L. Dutson returned to his home after spending the past two months in Colton, California. Thursday evening, June 15, there will be a farewell party and dance at the ward recreation hall for Stanley and Richard Dewsnup, who are leaving for a mission on the 19th of this month. Monday afternoon the Deseret Primary went to Oak City sand hills and had lunch and enjoyed the afternoon very much. Warren Moody from Baldwin Park is a visitor at. Deseert for the summer months. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Farns-worth Farns-worth and family from Salt Lake City are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Moody. Mrs. Ava Bennett is visiting this week in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Scow and son, Vernon,- from Hurricane, visited on Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Milden Scow. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Crafts spent a few days in Ogden last week. Mrs. Rhoda Carmen and children left for Salt Lake City to visit her husband's mother, Mrs. Carmen. Car-men. Rhoda had been visiting here a month with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Jensen. Richard Dewsnup and Lynn Riding Rid-ing are home from school. Bill Conk, who is working as an engineer for the Salt Lake Pipe & Line Co., has spent the past 8 months in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington, was injured the other day with an ax. It was necessary to take eight stitches in his arm. He spent the past week home with his mother, Mrs. Evah Conk, while his arm was healing. He returned Sunday to Ogden to continue his work. Mr. nad Mrs. Axel Stephensen and family from Provo spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Cahoon. Their daughter, daugh-ter, Beverly, remained here for a longer visit. |
