Show BY MAHY TQHNSON Mrs. Mary Smith and Mrs. El Donna Anderson drove to Nephi Wednesday taking Mrs. Anderson's baby for medical aid. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Elder of Tooele were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Bowers for the pheasant pheas-ant hunt. Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Nielson of Provo are happy over the arrival of a baby boy. Mr.' and Mrs. Eldon Eliason of Delta were visitors to Mutual on Tuesday, where Mr. Eliason discussed dis-cussed the lesson Ln the Special Interest group. They were guests ill with thorn. Miss Colleeen Nielson and her grandmother, Mrs. Jean Ashby of Springville, were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Nielson. Mrs. Alpha Nielson and daughters daugh-ters drove to Provo Saturday for a shopping trip. Rayma Bradfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bradfield, was operated upon at the Payson hospital Saturday for appendicitis. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Greathouse had as their guests Mr. and Mrs. ' Carl Farnsworth of Salt Lake City for the pheasant hunt this past weekend. Mr. and Mrs Herbert Abegglen and Mr. and Mrs. Alma Banks drove to Provo Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Clead Nielson drove to Spanish Fork Monday where Mrs. Nielson received medical attention. at-tention. The mumps are no respectors of persons. Mrs. Betty Nielson is quite of Bishop and Mrs. Earl Great-house, Great-house, as were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Shipley, Mary Smith and Lucile Overson. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Shipley drove to Santaquin Sunday. They were Salt Lake visitors Wednesday, go-gin go-gin up to bring Paul Finlonsin home. They were accompanied by Mrs. Frankie Finlinson and Raymond Ray-mond Finlinson. , Mrs. Josephine Sudbury has been at the Jerry Nielson home caring for the family while Mrs. Nielson was in the Payson hospital recovering re-covering from an appendectomy. Ruth returned home Saturday and Mrs. Sudbury went back to Salt Lake City Sunday. Mrs. Nettie Davis Da-vis and daughter, Alice, are visiting visit-ing at the Nielson home at present. Friday evening a ward party was held honoring the retiring bishopric, Bishop Clead Nielson and Vernon Roper. A program was given with Bishop Earl Great-house Great-house in charge, a!fter which refreshments re-freshments were served. A token of appreciation was presented to each. A large crowd enjoyed the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Woodbury are here from Redlands, Cal. Mr. Woodbury has gone back to work on his old job and at present they are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alma D. Hayes. Mr. and Mrs. Glade Roundy were visitors here Saturday. They visited visit-ed Mrs. Lile Johnson on their way back to Salt Lake City. |
