Show told experiences of his mission in Denmark. Mrs. Margaret Farr, of Salt Lake City and a friend of Mrs. Thomas Pratt during the war in England sang for the group. These fireside chats are very interesting in-teresting and well attended. About 67 people were present. Mrs. Robert Neilson and Richard Christensen spent the week end in Oak City. They are attending the USAC. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Christensen visited in Blanding for the holidays, holi-days, y Mr. and Mrs. Truman Roper visited vis-ited from Wyoming also. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Roper from California visited at the home of their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Roper this week. Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Harris and family of Provo and Grant Harris. Mrs. Margaret Farr originally of London visited with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Pratt for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Olson visited visit-ed a few days in Beaver. Miss Meredith Anderson left on Sunday for a visit in Salt Lake. Miss Mayvonne Dutson is visiting visit-ing in Beaver. Miss Johanna Alldredge visited at Orderville with friends and relatives re-latives . She was the guest of Irene Chamberlain, most of the time Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Alldredge had their daughters, Vanda and Leila visit last week. Mrs. Melba Dutson Bennett and little daughter from California visited vis-ited her parents Mr. and Mrs. Emery Em-ery Dutson. Oak City visitors for the holiday were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lovell and family from Pocatello, Ida.. Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Anderton of Richfield, Mr. and Mrs. Don Melville Mel-ville and family, Miss Melene Lovell, Lov-ell, Mr. and Mrs. James Hegessy of Salt Lake, Mr. Kay Lyman, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Pace from Beaver, Beav-er, Mr. and Mrs. Merlene Anderson Mr. and Mrs. Fay Jacobson from Miss Genevieve Anderson is doing do-ing nicely after an operation on her foot. Miss Verna Mae Shipley will spend a week with her parents, for her vacation from her work in Salt Lake. Sunrise salutes were given at dawn followed by the raising of the flag at sunrise. A good program was given at the hall at 10:30. Children's races at 2 p. m. with prizes and candy. A ballgame was payed by the limber gents and married stiffs. The score being in favor of the married stiffs. A picture show at a night was enjoyed by all. Osik City Mae H. Shipley Services Sunday evening were especially good. Elder Lars Bishop, Bish-op, a returned missionary and Mrs. Larsen a convert from Denmark, were the speakers. hTe Oak City Quartet, Dean Anderson, Elwood Lovell, Gayle Nielson and Paul Finlinson sang. Mr. and Mrs. Heb-er Heb-er were visitors with their son, Lars. The Fireside chat held following the sacrament meeting was held at the home of James Anderson. Elder Bishop showed pictures and |
