Nielson arrived today at Scott Air torce Base, Illinois, to attend the six weeks encamp-ment for air ROTC students from all over, the United States. Nielson will studv an intensive course in Air Force Communications togeth-er with 520 carefuuly chosen Air Force ROTC cadets from 38 col-leges and universities. The train-ing will qualify him to accept a commission in the Air Force Re-serve at the end of the summer from the US camp. He graduated 1950 with a B S. AC on June 2, decree in wildlife management. Morrison arrived today at Lowry Air Force Base, Denver, Colorado to attend the six weeks summer encampment which is com posed of Air Force ROTC students from all parts of the United States. Morrison will puruse a specialized course in administrative logistics together with 1200 carefully chos-en AFROTC cadets from 47 col-leges and universities representing 25 different states. In addition to the specialized training, the cadets will receive instruction in leader-ship, drill, exercise of command, marches and bivouacs, physical training and rifle marksmanship. This course of instruction will qual ify him to accept a commission as a 2nd lieutenant in the United States Air Force Reserve, when he receives his college degree from the University of Southern Califor-nia at Los Angeles. Morrison is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph W. Morrison of Delta.
