Show Hinckley- " Mrs. Harriet Spendlove Mr. and Mrs. Roe Buhanan and their two children, left Saturday morning to attend a birthday party par-ty for Mr. Buhanan's father in Cedar City, who is 81 years of age. They stayed two or three days to enjoy the Fourth of July holiday. Fourth of July visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Webb . were Mr. and Mrs. Don Webb of Beaver. From Thursday until Monday Mr and Mrs. Melvin Webb had visiting visit-ing at their home, the parents of Mrs. Webb, Bishop and Mrs. Ernest Ern-est W. Allred, as well as a sister, Mrs. Erma Pugmire, and her daughters, dau-ghters, all of St. Charles, Ida. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. William Webb entertained in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Allred and the Pugmires at their home. In addition to the guests of honor, others included Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Webb, Mr. and Mrs. Meron Petersen and their daughter; Mr. and Mrs. Arjann Dekker and children and Mrs. Claire Petersen and her family. Mr. and Mrs. George Faris and family were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Faris over the weekend. Robert was home from TOD Park for the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Hilton and family are now home for the sum- mer after having attended school at the BYU in Provo. Michael Damron has had as his guests for the past week his cousins, cous-ins, Kenny and Steve Searle, who stayed at the Damron home while they folks took a trip to Fish Lake. Recently Miss Ellen Pewtress, daughter of Savalla Bryant of Tooele Too-ele spent a few weeks visiting here with relatives, staying at the home of Mrs. Elaine Dekker. Mr. and Mrs. 'Arthur Spendlove and children, of Ogden were visit- , ors at the home of his mother, Mrs. Emma Spendlove, from Monday Mon-day until Thursday. Monday night a contest was held in the Hinckley rodeo grounds for queen to reign, over the celebration celebrat-ion in Hinckley on July 24 with the results being Jerry Judd chosen chos-en as queen with her two attendants attend-ants being Joyce Theobald and Lyla Rae Talbot. Jerry will be the entry for the contest for Queen for Days of the Old West. For the last week, Mrs. Hattie Humphries had had as her house guests her son LaVar and his family, also her son Boyd and his family. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stratton were visited Sunday and Monday by Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Cahoon and family of TOD Park. Mr. and Mrs. Verdell Bishop and family were in Salt Lake City on business Wednesday. Mr. Leonard Palmer spent July 41 h in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. George Stewart and son Don were visitors in Provo Pro-vo and Orem over the week end. They went to see their little grand son, the new baby of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Stewart. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Stewart are in Hinckley for this week. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Western Monday and Tuesday were their son, Evan, his wife and family of Logan. Mrs. Leona Pratt and family of Bellflower, Cal., are visitors this week at the home of her parents, Mrs. and Mrs Amos Maxfield. |
