Chester Jacobs, son of Mrs. Mol-li- e Jacobs, was operated on for appendicitis last week in Ogden The attack came on shortly after he had been to Delta to visit his mother, who has been ill. Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Riding and daughter, Bonnie, and Mr. and Mrs. Kennard Riding, were on their way Saturday-t- drive to Joneboro, Arkansas, where they will visit Mr. and Mrs. Bob Riding and fam-ily. Dr and Mrs. Iliff Jeffery and two daughters and son, from Pro-v- o were in Delta for the weekend Dr Jeffery brought with him a 3b inch? 1 pound yellowtail he caught on a deep seafishnig expedition of July 1 at SanDiego. The fish was frozen in a large cake of ice and stored at the Quality Market and served at family dinner Sunday at the home of Mrs. Adeline Jeffery- Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kelly left Delta Monday for Detroit and will drive a new car home, Sightseeing along the way. Mrs. Nora Pearson returned Mon day to her home in' Circleville aft-er a visit in Delta with her sister, Mrs. Adeline Jeffery. The twins in today's Who's Who are Lawrence Cropper and sister, Florence Cropper Robins, children of the late L. R. Cropper and Mrs. Lula B. Cropper, of Hinckley. Law-rence now lives at Oasis, where he is in the ward bishopric, and has been manager of the Oasis Seed Plant for 15 years. Mrs. Robins, wife of Kenith Robins, has lived in Delta since her marriage, ex-ce- pt for the four years lived in Scipio. She says she taught her brother, Ladd R.
