V:V iJ r J,.., These are ten of the fourteen four-teen boys from west Millard now citizens of Boys' State, encamped en-camped at Camp Williams-They are from left to right, Stanley Black, Keith Mortensen. Edward SItidmore, Bill Starley , Lloyd Warner, Delta high school. Daryl Cropper, Hinckley high school, Kenneth Daly. Del Ray Nielson, Lyn Prestwich and Clarence Delta high school. They are sponsored by Theo Q. Jensen Post 117. American Legion. Billie Brimley .of Leamington, Leam-ington, was one more delegate from the post, not present when the picture was taken. Three more delegates, sponsored by Arthur L. Cahoan, Post 89, not pictured, are Dick' Davis. Jay Warner, and Dale Bliss, Hinckley Hinck-ley high school. Bob Wallace, Joe Mercer. Jr., and Frank Bishop, commander. Post 117, on front row accompanied accom-panied the boys to Boys' State lor opening day. - In elections there Edward Skidmore, Lloyd Warner and Lyn Prestwich were made mayors of three cities. 3 hundred boys at Boys' State are learning first hand principles of government. On the lighter side, . they are consuming $600 in food and 80 gallons of milk each day. |
