Show Farewell Party Honors Couple Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hortln, Delta residents for nine years and now departing to make a home in Pan-guitch, Pan-guitch, were honored at a farewell fare-well party Saturday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ward Moody. Moo-dy. Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Moody, and Mr and Mrs Glen Seegmiller were co-hosts. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Bassett, Mr. and Mrs Norman Gard ner, Mr and Mrs. Warren Henderson, Hender-son, Mr. and Mrs. Evan Christen-sen, Christen-sen, Mr; and Mrs. V. S. Barney and Mr .Barney's sister, Mrs Parkinson, here from Long Beach, Cal., Mr. and Mrs. Van Bishop, Mr. and Mrs. W. J Starley and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Snow Dinner was served on the lawn and games and visiting entertained entertain-ed the guests. At the end of the evening Mr. and Mrs. Hortin were presented with a gift. Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Gronning returned re-turned to Delta last week from a trip to Lima, Montana, to visit their daughter, Mrs. Raymond Peterson. Pe-terson. From there they went to Twin Falls, Idaho, where they visited vis-ited their daughter, Mrs. Roger Marsh and the new baby boy born July 3 to Mr. and Mrs. Marsh. Their daughter, Mrs. Esther Laub-er, Laub-er, of San Francisco, made the trip with them, and remained in Twin Falls to help care for Mrs. Marsh and the baby. |
