Although this house appears to be a normal lf dwelling, it actually has rooms on four distinct interior levels. Be-cause of this unique arrangement, the house has been selected as Plan No. 41 by American Builder maga-zine, 30 Church St., New York 7. The lowest level includes the garage and utility room; the second level, hall, kitchen, break-fast room, living-dinin- g room and screened porch; third level, three bedrooms, hall and bathroom, and fourth leveL one bedroom, bath room and storage area. Short flights of stairs connect the levels. The 15- - by ot combination living-dinin- g room has two picture windows with double-glaze- d glass, a fireplace and built-i- n bookcases. The utility room on the first level has provision for laundry fa-- ! cilities and for a water heater, an incinerator and a gas-fire- forced- - air furnace. Former Ileltan I&ies at Pioelie Word of the death of Eugene Singleton was learned this week by local friends. He was killed Sat urciay morning in a mine cave-i- n at Pioche, Nov. He had lived in Delta about 5 years as a railroad employee and moved to Caliente, Nev., about ten years ago. Milford was his home town. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vi Singleton, and a daughter, Kay Lou, and a son, Ronnie Singleton. Funeral services were held in Pioche Wednesday at 11 a.m. Bur-ial was al Minersville cemetery, with a graveside service at 3 p. ni. Attending from Delta were Mr. and Mrs. Vard Tucker, Mrs. Carl Bennett and Mrs. Alvin Bohn. Russell Wood of Ilolden was mayor of the camp, and leu Wanna Bunker of Sutherland was elected program chairman. Others attending camp from Mil- lard were Julene Bunker of Suther-land; Max Wood of Holden and County Agent Rickenbach. Activities of the camp were held on the BAC campus and in Paro-wa- n canyon. Eighty boys and girls from all southern Utah counties were in at-tendance. Programs were under the direction of Dave Sharp and Fern Shipley, state club leaders, USAC extension service. Dairying Aiils Soil Fertility Declaring that dairying is the greatest single factor in soil con-servation, County Agent Rodney G. Rickenbach today urged a com-plete coperation in the June Dairy month advertising set-asi- for year-aroun- d foods. promotion of dairy "Dairying slops soil erosion and builds fertility," the county agent declared. "When land washes and plant nutrients disap-pear from the soil, less food is prduced and everybody loses. As goes dairying, so goes soil conser-vation. The better the markets for dairy products the better it is for dairying." He said a penny a pound of butterfat set aside at the dairy plants during the month of June is a wise investment for every dairyman. The American Dairy association is "all of us" working together to conserve the soil and preserve the American way of life, he stated emphatically. "Let's make Millard county 100 percent county in the ADA set-asi-this June," he asserted in his appeal to dairy plant opera-tors and fieldmen, milk haulers, DHIA testers and "all who make their living from dairying" to cru-sade for the advertising Mr and Mrs. Doyle Sampson and son and daughter are mak-- L a visit of two weeks with Mr. Sampson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. fi Sampson. Seeking Queen For Horse Scum All of Millard County's pretty girls are invited to enter the con-test for queen of the Millard Coun ty Horse Show which is to be held at the county fair grounds in Fill-more July 1, 2, 3 and 4. Contestants will be judged and a queen selected June 11 at 4:00 p.m. at the fair grounds. Wear your prettiest smile and western riding habit and ride the flashiest mount you can find. Mrs. Mima Earnard from Sahara Village and Mrs Dessa Lauden and two chidren, Wayne and Karen, from Albuquerque, N. M., are visi-ting in Delta with their sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Hollingshead and Mrs. Jennie Largent. Mr. and Mrs. Les Welton had three married daughters home for a visit last week, first time the family had been all together in six years. They were Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Juers and baby Mike, of Rhinelander, Wis., and Mrs. J. O.
