Show Wisis From Oak City, Oak City displayed some spectacular spect-acular fielding with two double -plays and the alert playing of second baseman Merton Lovell, but Lynndyl amassed 7 runs on 8 hits 2 errors and a hit batsman to beat Oak City 7-6. Ronald Anderson held Lynndyl hitless in the first inning, but in the second John Whatcott blasted a triple to center field and was sacrificed home by Ivie Nielson to tie the score. Merton Lovell scored in the first for Oak City. Lynndyl forged ahead in the third inning as Leo Lake drew a walk and Elroy Nielson was hit by a pitched ball. Norman Rees then singled them home. Oak City promptly tied the score Merton Lovell received a base on balls and scored on Monan Lovells triple. Monan was out in an attempt at-tempt to stretch his hit into a home run. Scott Sheriff singled and stole home. Lynndyl exploded for three runs in the fourth inning. Jay Simpson led off with a double, and Leo Lake smashed a triple followed by Elroy Nielson's triple but was pegged peg-ged out at home plate. DELTA 2nd 12, SUTHERLAND 8 The Delta Second ward tearrf gave Sutherland their second consecutive con-secutive defeat while winning their first game of the season 12-8. The Delta attack was featured with a home run by David Seeg-miller Seeg-miller and at least one hit by the remainder of the players. Merritt Floyd hurled for Delta 2nd while Jim Porter pitched for the olsers DELTA 3rd 30.
